Types and amount of homework

Progression is planned from Reception to Key Stage Two through the provision of appropriate activities and the increasing expectations we have of our children and the amount of homework that they are given as they move up through the school.


Aim for a minimum of 4 times per week, to be record in your child’s reading record, signed by adult.

To raise the profile of reading in school and at home we are working on a whole school incentive, watch this space!


Weekly test set on Thursday tested on a Wednesday. Paper copies will be sent home via book bags and an electronic copy can be found below.


MyMaths is a new online platform where all maths homework will be set and completed in Years 1-6.



Times Tables Rockstars - A speedy times table test will take place on a Friday.


 Please note that logins and passwords for Times Tables Rock Stars and MyMaths are on the inside of the back cover of your child's reading record.


Brain Builder: 

Once per half term.  A paper copy will be sent home via the brain builder books and an electronic copy will be available below.

A HUGE well done to everyone who produced a brain builder this half term. We had a lovely combination of creative artwork as well as super pieces of writing filled with fascinating facts about Royal Ascot. What a fantastic way to finish Year 3!
