Year 3 Homework

Each week, homework will be set on a Thursday and returned to school the following Wednesday.

  •         Reading daily to an adult
  •         Spellings to be tested on a Wednesday every week
  •         Times tables using Times Tables Rock Stars
  •         1 maths or English task linked to learning in school. This task should take approximately 20 minutes. Maths homework set by Mrs Klinker and English homework set by Mrs Banerji.

This week, there is a combination of retrieval and explanation questions as well as questions linked to vocabulary choices. You may either choose to complete one exercise or both exercises. If you can, please staple and attach both together.
 
Children have to carefully look at the image(s), and answer questions linked to the image(s).
 
Please remember to write full sentences whilst considering grammar, punctuation and spelling.

NOTICE: WE ARE COLLECTING CORRUGATED CARDBOARD (IE: AN AMAZON BOX) FOR AN ART PROJECT THIS HALF TERM. PLEASE BRING IN A BOX FROM HOME WHEN YOU HAVE ONE.

We have collected a number of boxes at present. Thank you very much to parents and carers for boxes received so far.

You can complete your Brain Builder on A3 card, or paper so that we can display this within class. We are looking for beautiful joined up handwriting, good use of capital letters, full stops and ambitious vocabulary to describe your chosen volcanoes.
