Friday 3rd September 2021

The children will be bringing home reading books today. Please try and read on a regular basis with your child and sign their reading record book. Remember to spend time discussing books read with your child as understanding what is read is very important. In school children will read on a regular basis and comprehension skills will be taught throughout the year. Children could also be encouraged to read books from home. Rereading familiar, favourite stories really helps to develop children's confidence.
Weekly homework and spellings linked to learning in school will be sent home once the children are settled into their new class.
Thank you

Please practise logging into to Purple Mash. (log in details should be in the front of the Reading Record Books)
